THE 5th EDITION OF UGANDA PHARMACUTICAL AND HEALTHCARE EXHIBITION TO BE HELD BETWEEN 26 AND 28 OF MARCH 2026 AT UMA GROUNDS.

All roads will lead to Lugogo for the 5th and Momentus Edition of Uganda Pharma & Healthcare, Uganda’s Largest Pharmaceutical, Medical & Healthcare Exhibition,which is scheduled to take place from 26 – 28 March 2026 at the Multi-Purpose Hall in UMA Show Grounds, Lugogo, Kampala, Uganda.
The spokesperson for Ministry of Health,Emmanuel Ainebyoona, who read the speach on behalf of the Minister of Health Hon.Ruth Acheng,said,the International expo presents a unique opportunity to tap into the growing market of the East African Region via Uganda.

Anebyoona said,the exhibition like always will be the gateway to the East African Pharma, Medical & Healthcare Business Community in Uganda.
He said,the premier exhibition series in the East Africa Region, has had support from the Ministry of Health ,National Drug Authority Uganda, Uganda Healthcare Federation, Allied Health Professionals Council Uganda, Uganda Medical Association and the Uganda Manufacturers Association among other supporters.
The event will be hosting Medical Professionals, Pharmacies, Hospitals, Health Organizations, Importers & Exporters, Decision Makers and Medical Practitioners of the East African Region in Uganda. Exhibitors from around 10+ countries will be participating in this exhibition looking to explore the untapped potential of the East Africa Market.

The International Expo will attract a participation of more than 125 exhibitors from various countries like Uganda, Kenya, India, Turkey, Egypt, China, Bangladesh, UAE, Europe and others with the total area occupied by them being around 4000 SQM.

Called upon Government to priotize support for local drug manufacturing to ensure a steady supply of essentail medicines used to combat HIV,Hepatitis,Tuberclosis,and cervical cancer.
This call comes in response to the dwindling foreign Aid from the USA,to WHO which has affected the supply of essential drugs in low developeb Countries like Uganda.
On the other hand the pharmacutical Industry is projected to grow from 117.1 Million to 131 Million Dollars om 2026

A Ubos report however revealed the Ugandan pharmaceutical industry shows growth, with the overall manufacturing sector (including pharmaceuticals) increasing production by 2.6% for the year ending Q1 2025/26. The sector is experiencing inflationary pressure with manufacturer prices, while the broader market is valued at approximately $400–500 million, growing at 5–10% annually
