Two people Arrested Over Murder of 34-Year-Old Man in Kalerwe
Police at Wandegeya have arrested two suspects in connection with the murder of a 34-year-old man identified as Kabugo, a resident of Kalerwe, Kampala
The suspects, identified as Ssebuya and Johnson, are currently being held at Wandegeya Police Division as investigations continue.

According to police, the case came to light after officers received information on Tuesday morning about a body lying near the fence of Dusuma Garage in Kalerwe. Police immediately responded to the scene and deployed a K9 sniffer dog to aid in the investigation.
In a statement, police said the sniffer dog, identified as Pepper, was introduced to the crime scene and picked up a scent from the body.

“Pepper tracked for approximately 10 metres before entering the house of the garage askari (security guard),” police said.
The dog later exited the house and continued tracking within the garage premises, moving around the fence before re-entering the garage area. Officers said the dog eventually led them to a specific spot inside the garage where the security guard and other workers usually sit during working hours.
“Upon reaching this location, he indicated by lying down, signaling the presence of crucial evidence,” police noted.
At the identified spot, officers recovered a metal bar with visible blood stains, which police believe was used to assault the deceased.
Further searches conducted in the security guard’s house led to the recovery of spears and arrows, which were also taken in as exhibits.
Police say the two suspects remain in custody as inquiries into the circumstances surrounding Kabugo’s death continue. Further updates will be provided as investigations progress.
