Uganda and Egypt Activate Visa Waiver for Diplomatic and Service Passport Holders
UgandaUgandaUganda and Egypt have further strengthened their relations by activating a visa waiver for diplomatic and service passport holders for both countries.

Addressing journalists on Monday, the Ministry of Internal Affairs spokesperson, Simon Mundeyi said that the visa waiver agreement has officially taken effect, allowing holders of specified passports to travel between the two countries without a visa.
Uganda and Egypt maintain strong, strategic, and historically deep relations, focusing on Nile water cooperation, agricultural investment, and regional security.

The two countries have also signed agreements for cooperation in trade and investment to agriculture, water management, and community development.
President Museveni recently challenged the perception that Uganda is landlocked, saying its natural connection to the Mediterranean through the Nile has only been hindered by political instability in Sudan.
