Buganda Katikkiro commends Maganjo grain millers for creating thousands of Jobs for the youth  ‎

‎The Katikkiro of the Buganda Kingdom, Charles Peter Mayiga recently paid a visit to  Maganjo Grain Millers in Maganjo, Wakiso District, to witness how the company has transformed lives through employment and industrial growth.

‎The company, founded by Dr. Benon Lugya, has so far created employment for more than 2,000 people. The visit attracted several dignitaries, including head teachers from Midland Schools.

‎Addressing guests, Mayiga praised the company’s remarkable growth, noting that it started with only two employees and has grown into one of the country’s major employers.

‎Mayiga encouraged entrepreneurs to set clear goals, remain consistent, exercise patience, work together with others, build trust within their teams, and embrace technology in order to achieve long-term success.

‎He also urged aspiring entrepreneurs to learn from successful local businesses such as Maganjo Grain Millers.

‎Meanwhile, the founder of Maganjo Grain Millers and Midland Schools, Dr. Benon Lugya, thanked God for enabling the company to positively impact thousands of lives through employment and quality production.

‎Lugya revealed that the company contributes about UGX 5 billion annually in taxes to the Uganda Revenue Authority and exports its products to several countries, attributing the success to maintaining high standards of hygiene.

‎He also appealed to the Katikkiro to continue encouraging Ugandans to uphold cleanliness in their workplaces and communities.

‎Maganjo grain millers is an agro-processing company which obtains  maize in its original state and processes it into various products e.g maize  flour, animal feed, Kwik instant porridge, baby porridge and soya millet flour among others.
